Description

This second hand electric guitar is in great condition.

upgraded with EMG pickups and bronze bridge saddles.

2020 model. Made in Mexico

The Fender Player Telecaster (2020 model) brings classic Tele style into the modern era with some clever updates, great build quality, and that unmistakable Telecaster snap and twang. Made in Fender’s Ensenada, Mexico factory, the Player Series replaced the long-running Standard Series and quickly became a go-to choice for gigging musicians, upgraders, and first-time Fender fans alike.

Design & Build Quality

  • Body: Alder

  • Neck: Maple (C-shaped, satin finish)

  • Fingerboard: Maple or Pau Ferro (depending on the variant)

  • Frets: 22 medium jumbo frets

  • Bridge: 6-saddle string-through-body Tele bridge with bent steel saddles

The Player Tele feels like a proper Fender. The alder body gives it a familiar weight—not super heavy, but substantial enough to feel like you're playing a real workhorse guitar.

The neck has a modern “C” profile and a 9.5" radius, offering a nice balance between comfort for chords and ease for lead playing. Fender also gave the Player Series 22 frets (instead of the traditional 21), letting you stretch into those extra-high bends if you want.

Fit and finish on the 2020 models is very impressive for the price. Fretwork is clean, paint is consistent, and everything feels solid and ready to gig.

Playability

  • Neck Feel: Smooth satin back — fast and comfortable

  • Frets: Medium jumbo — great for bending and modern playstyles

  • Action: Typically low and slick out of the box with minimal setup needed

The satin finish on the back of the neck really makes a difference—it feels fast, broken-in, and ready to go without that sticky gloss some cheaper guitars have. The cutaway and body contours (slightly softened from old-school slab-bodies) make it comfortable to play for hours.

Pros

Classic Tele tone with a modern edge
Excellent build quality for the price
 Comfortable, fast-playing neck
 Versatile enough for many genres
 Eye-catching finish options

Who Is It For?

Gigging musicians — Reliable and road-ready without breaking the bank
New Fender players — A perfect “first real Tele”
Home recorders and studio players — Great tones for a wide range of styles
Modders — Solid platform for future pickup/hardware upgrades

The Fender Player Telecaster (2020) nails what makes a Telecaster special: simplicity, versatility, and raw character. It’s not a museum replica of a ‘50s model—it’s a modern working musician’s guitar that honors the tradition while bringing a bit more power and polish.
