This second hand bass combo is in great condition
What it does well
-
Surprisingly full bass tone for the size — Despite being a 25 W, 1×8″ practice-style combo, the Crush Bass 25 delivers a warm, rounded, and punchy bass tone that many players find “bigger” than you’d expect from such a compact amp.
-
Flexible tone shaping — The active 3-band EQ with a parametric mid control gives you far more control over your tone than most basic practice amps. That means you can dial in deep vintage thump, modern growl, or somewhere in between depending on your bass style or genre.
-
Good for home practice / small jams — With the ported (“reflex”) cabinet design improving low-end response, and a surprisingly articulate tone even at lower volumes, it’s excellent for home practice, rehearsal rooms or bedroom playing.
-
Handy features — The built-in chromatic tuner, AUX-in for backing tracks, and CabSim-equipped headphone output make it very practice-friendly. CabSim helps the headphones output sound more like a real bass cabinet, which many appreciate for quiet practice or late-night sessions.
-
Portability — At around 8.3 kg and with compact dimensions, it’s easy to transport , ideal for musicians who want a simple, no-nonsense amp for home, rehearsals, maybe small gigs.
Who it’s best for
The Crush Bass 25 is ideal if you:
-
are a beginner to intermediate bassist looking for a solid first bass amp
-
practise at home, in small spaces, or late at night
-
want flexibility to experiment with tone without a huge budget
-
need portability and simplicity over power
-
jam with backing tracks or want a low-maintenance practice rig
The Orange Crush Bass 25 punches well above its weight for what it’s designed for , a compact, no-frills, practice-friendly bass amp. For home use, rehearsal rooms, or learning bass, it's a terrific value: warm tone, good flexibility, and practical features make it a solid pick. However, if you aim to gig regularly, play with a full band, or require powerful low-end projection, you’ll likely outgrow it.
