Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge teamed up with Fender once again to release The Tom DeLonge Stratocaster. This iconic Strat made a comeback just in time for Blink's reunion tour .

What stands out

1. Purposeful simplicity. This is not a three-pickup, five-knob Strat. This guitar has a single humbucker (the Seymour Duncan Invader) and one volume knob with a treble-bleed circuit.

Tone & playability in practice

• Rhythm / power chords: This is where it really thrives. That Invader humbucker plus hardtail bridge means tight response, strong mids, and the sort of punch you want when palm-muting or doing chunky riffs.
