Description
This second hand acoustic guitar amp is in very good condition
The Roland AC-60 is a stereo acoustic guitar amplifier designed to deliver natural, transparent acoustic tone with features tailored for both performance and practice. It packs dual 30 W channels and two 6.5″ speakers into a relatively compact combo, making it usable in small venues, coffeehouses, and rehearsal spaces without overpowering the room.
Sound Quality
Natural & Clear Acoustic Tone
The AC-60 excels at keeping your guitar’s inherent character front and centre. Most users find its sound clear, balanced and true to the instrument, with minimal coloration—especially compared to inexpensive acoustic amps. The onboard DSP-based effects (chorus, delay/reverb) are tasteful and particularly useful for solo performances, adding depth and space without overwhelming the core sound
Chorus & Reverb That Suit Acoustic
The stereo/multi-band chorus, including a “wide” mode, and the reverb/delay tailored for acoustic guitars are often cited as pleasant enhancements that complement fingerstyle and strummed playing.
Features & Flexibility
Dual Inputs + Phantom Power
One of its strong points is the two-channel design — one for guitar and one for mic/line with phantom power. This is ideal for singer-songwriters who want to amplify both vocals and instrument without a separate PA.
Auto Anti-Feedback
The built-in anti-feedback control allows higher volume without the whistling and squeals that plague many acoustic setups. Users find this really helps in live settings.
Performance & Connectivity
-
Mute switch for silent tuning.
-
Stereo line out and subwoofer out for PA or recording.
-
Tilt stand or speaker stand friendly design for better sound projection.
Pros
-
Transparent, natural acoustic sound with good projection.
-
Onboard chorus and reverb tailored for acoustic.
-
Anti-feedback and phantom power are real performance conveniences.
-
Handy dual inputs for vocal + guitar setup.
-
Solid build quality with useful outputs for PA/recording.
Overall, the Roland AC-60 is a strong contender in the acoustic amp world. It blends clear, natural tone with useful gig-ready features, making it especially worthwhile for singer-songwriters and solo acoustic players. If your focus is pure acoustic performance and you value convenience and sound quality over raw power, it’s a very solid choice.
