- Our Standard Shipping: This is our most affordable shipping option, with delivery by express courier taking 1-3 business days , normally via DPD or DHL parcel. Currently FREE on orders of £399 or over and £6.95 for orders under £399
- Next working day Shipping: If you need your guitar in a hurry, our Next Working Day shipping option means next working day delivery if you order before 2pm. Currently £12.99. (please note, working day means Monday-Friday , excluding bank holidays - Orders placed before 2pm Friday will be delivered Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday would shipped on Monday, delivered Tuesday.) * Please Note: Next Working Day option is not available on some items , check delivery options at the checkout.
- Shipping to Northern Ireland - can take 48 hours to arrive , and please note we can't send very heavy items such as pianos to Northern Ireland due to courier restrictions. £19.99

This pre- loved Ashdown AGM-5C is in excellent condition.
The Ashdown AGM-5C is a superb compact valve combo that offers genuine British valve character with enough versatility for home use, recording and smaller gigs. It produces 5 watts of Class A power through a premium 12-inch Celestion Creamback speaker, delivering warm, articulate cleans with plenty of depth and sparkle before moving into rich, touch-sensitive overdrive as the gain is increased.
One of the best features is the Stealth mode, which reduces the output to around 1 watt while using Ashdown’s Active Speaker Compensation to retain the fullness and character of the sound at lower volumes. There is also a speaker mute function with a speaker-compensated recording output and headphone connection, making the amp particularly useful for recording and quiet practice.
The AGM-5C also features built-in Accutronics reverb, an effects loop and an aux input with its own mix control, making it an excellent platform for pedals and a very flexible amplifier despite its relatively simple single-channel design.
The combination of the 12AX7 preamp valve, EL84 power valve and Celestion Creamback produces a beautifully responsive tone with plenty of classic British character. It can deliver everything from clean blues and warm vintage tones through to gritty rock overdrive, and it responds particularly well to playing dynamics and changes in guitar volume.
Overall, the AGM-5C is a beautifully built, versatile and great-sounding valve amplifier. It has the warmth and feel of a traditional British valve combo while offering modern features that make it equally at home in the studio, at home or on a small stage. A genuinely impressive 5-watt amplifier with considerably more versatility and volume than its compact size would suggest.
