Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured Seafoam Green 2022

The Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured in Seafoam Green brings a fresh, contemporary look to one of the most recognisable electric guitar designs in music history. Combining the classic Les Paul character with modern refinements, this USA-made instrument is designed for players who want traditional Gibson tone alongside enhanced comfort, versatility and performance. Its striking Seafoam Green finish and beautifully figured AAA maple top give it a distinctive appearance that stands out from more traditional Les Paul models.

At its heart, the guitar features a mahogany body with Ultra-Modern weight relief and a figured maple top, delivering the familiar warmth, resonance and sustain associated with the Les Paul design while reducing overall weight. The mahogany SlimTaper neck, genuine ebony fingerboard and compound radius provide a comfortable playing experience across the entire fretboard. A modern contoured heel also improves access to the upper frets, making lead playing, bends and technically demanding passages more comfortable.

The pickup configuration features a Burstbucker Pro in the neck position and a Burstbucker Pro Plus in the bridge. These humbuckers deliver a powerful, full-bodied sound with plenty of definition, making the guitar well suited to blues, classic rock, hard rock and heavier styles. The neck pickup provides warmth and depth for smooth leads and rounded rhythm tones, while the bridge pickup offers greater attack and bite when you need to cut through a mix. The result is a versatile tonal foundation that retains the unmistakable character of a Gibson Les Paul.

Where the Modern Figured really distinguishes itself is in its expanded electronics. Two push-pull volume controls provide coil-tapping options, while the tone controls offer phase switching and pure bypass functionality. These additional settings allow players to explore a wider range of sounds, from traditional humbucker tones to brighter, more cutting textures and alternative pickup combinations. Combined with Grover locking tuners and an aluminium Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, the guitar offers reliable tuning stability, solid sustain and a setup designed for demanding playing situations.

The Seafoam Green finish completes the package, contrasting beautifully with the figured maple top, chrome hardware and ebony fingerboard. Supplied with a hard-shell case, the Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured is a premium instrument that balances the heritage of the Les Paul with the needs of today's guitarists. For players seeking a high-quality Gibson with distinctive styling, comfortable playability and a broad tonal range, this model is an impressive choice.
