Hotone Skyline Opto Tremolo Effects Pedal

Bring movement, atmosphere and vintage character to your guitar tone with the Hotone Skyline TREM Optical Tremolo Effects Pedal. Designed for guitarists who want to add expressive modulation to their sound, this compact effects pedal delivers everything from smooth, shimmering volume pulses to more pronounced, rhythmic tremolo effects.

Inspired by classic optical tremolo circuits found in vintage guitar amplifiers, the Skyline TREM produces a fluid, pulsating sound with plenty of tonal versatility. Whether you want to recreate vintage surf guitar sounds, add subtle movement to clean chords or create dramatic, choppy textures for more experimental playing, this pedal offers a wide range of creative possibilities.

The intuitive control layout makes it easy to shape the effect to suit your playing style. The SPEED control adjusts the rate of the pulsation, ranging from slow, spacious waves to fast, rhythmic modulation. The DEPTH control determines the intensity of the effect, allowing you to choose between gentle movement and more pronounced volume fluctuations.

The COLOR control provides additional tonal shaping, helping you fine-tune the character of the tremolo effect. For a more aggressive sound, the dedicated HARD switch produces a sharper, more pronounced pulsing character, making it ideal for rhythmic playing and distinctive musical passages.

Part of Hotone's popular Skyline series, the TREM combines a compact footprint with durable construction, making it an excellent choice for guitarists who want to maximise pedalboard space without sacrificing creative possibilities. The zinc-alloy enclosure is designed for everyday use, while the illuminated controls offer a distinctive appearance and improved visibility when adjusting settings.

The true bypass footswitch helps preserve your guitar's original signal when the effect is switched off, making the Skyline TREM a practical addition to a wide range of guitar setups.

Suitable for a variety of musical styles, this versatile pedal works particularly well with surf rock, blues, classic rock, indie, alternative, psychedelic and ambient music. Use slower settings to add subtle movement and atmosphere to chords, or increase the speed and depth for more dramatic, rhythmic effects. It can also be combined with other effects to create more complex and experimental sounds.

Key features include an optical tremolo effect with a vintage-inspired character, adjustable SPEED, DEPTH and COLOR controls, a dedicated HARD switch, true bypass switching, a durable zinc-alloy enclosure and a compact, pedalboard-friendly design.
