Martin Road Series D-10E Dreadnought 2021 With Gator Hard Case

The Martin Road Series D-10E is a well-appointed electro-acoustic guitar that combines traditional Martin craftsmanship with practical features designed for today's performing guitarist. Featuring a classic dreadnought body shape, solid wood construction and understated styling, the D-10E delivers the familiar Martin sound and quality in a more accessible package.

The guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top, paired with solid sapele back and sides. This combination produces a balanced, full-bodied acoustic tone, with a clear and articulate top end, warm midrange and a strong bass response. The dreadnought body provides excellent projection, making it particularly well suited to strumming and rhythm playing, while retaining sufficient clarity and definition for fingerstyle work. The satin finish gives the guitar a natural, understated appearance, allowing the attractive wood grain to remain a prominent feature.

Playability is another strong point. The Performing Artist neck profile has a comfortable, hand-rubbed finish, providing a smooth feel across the fingerboard. The 25.4-inch scale length and 44.5mm nut width offer a familiar playing experience, while the FSC-certified Richlite fingerboard and bridge provide durability and a consistent playing surface. Mother-of-pearl pattern inlays and subtle body detailing add a touch of refinement without being overly decorative.

For amplified use, the D-10E is equipped with Fishman MX-T electronics, featuring convenient soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. The system also incorporates a built-in tuner, allowing quick and easy tuning adjustments without the need for an external pedal or clip-on tuner. The pickup system provides a practical solution for live performance, rehearsal and recording, retaining much of the guitar's natural acoustic character when plugged in.

The Martin D-10E is a versatile and dependable electro-acoustic that offers an excellent combination of solid wood construction, comfortable playability and quality electronics. Whether used for home playing, songwriting, recording or live performance, it delivers the projection, warmth and familiar character associated with Martin dreadnought guitars. A particularly appealing choice for players looking for a quality Martin without moving into the higher-priced American-made ranges.
