Meinl Marathon Series 3 Piece Conga Set With Carry Bags
Description
Description
This second hand conga drum set is in great condition.
Set includes three conga drums ( 12 1/2" , 11 3/4" , 11" ) , plus Fame padded carry bags.
The Meinl Marathon Series 3 Piece Conga Set is a versatile and practical percussion package, offering a complete set of three matching congas for players looking to develop their technique or add a fuller range of tones to their percussion setup. Meinl's Marathon Series is well regarded for combining traditional conga design with reliable construction, making this set suitable for practice, rehearsals, performances and educational use.
With three different drum sizes, the set provides a useful spread of pitches, from deeper bass tones through to brighter, more articulate sounds. The natural skins produce a responsive playing feel with plenty of warmth and character, while the rounded bearing edges help provide a comfortable playing surface and consistent response across the drums. The drums can be played with the hands to produce everything from deep open tones and bass notes to sharp slaps and muted sounds.
The Marathon Series construction is designed to withstand the demands of regular playing, with durable hardware and carefully finished shells giving the drums a professional appearance. The chrome-plated hardware provides a secure and dependable tuning system, allowing the heads to be adjusted to achieve the desired pitch and response.
A major advantage of this three-piece set is its versatility. Having three drums together allows players to create more complex rhythms and traditional multi-drum conga patterns without needing to purchase additional instruments individually. It is equally at home in Latin percussion settings, world music, live performances, recording sessions or simply for developing hand percussion skills at home.
The set also comes supplied with carry bags, providing useful protection when the drums are being taken between rehearsals, gigs or lessons. Overall, the Meinl Marathon Series 3 Piece Conga Set offers a well-rounded collection of congas with a warm, responsive sound, dependable construction and the convenience of having everything needed in one package.
