Description

This second hand guitar is in very good condition.

Some scratches on the back of the body,

The EG330SC is part of Takamine’s G-series line of acoustic-electrics, featuring a dreadnought single cutaway body, solid spruce top, nato back & sides, rosewood fingerboard, and an onboard preamp/electronics system

Top   Solid Spruce
Back     Nato
Sides     Nato
Finger Board     Rosewood
Electronics     N4B
Finish     Gloss Natural

Pros:

  1. Warm and expressive tone
Thanks to the solid cedar top, the sound tends toward warmth, quicker response (cedar opens up fast), with mellow trebles , good for fingerpicking and voice accompaniment.

  2. Good build quality for the price
The craftsmanship is solid. For its price bracket (mid-range acoustic-electric), the attention to finish, joinery, neck setup is well regarded. The cutaway is helpful for access, and overall, it doesn’t feel like a cheap instrument.

  3. Useful electronics
The onboard preamp gives flexibility: volume, EQ sliders, notch filter (helpful for reducing feedback), built-in tuner. For live work or amps/PA systems, this gives ways to shape the sound and manage issues.

  4. Comfort and playability
The cutaway helps with higher frets; neck profile is considered reasonable; satin finish helps with feel. Also, being lighter than some full dreadnoughts (nato being less dense than some hardwoods) helps with comfort.

Who It’s Best For

  • Singer-songwriters who do fingerstyle or light strumming, wanting warmth and expressive tone, plus the ability to plug in for small gigs or recording.

  • Players who want a good all-round gigging acoustic-electric, but aren’t pushing the absolute upper price / premium bracket.

  • Those who value comfort, playability, and ease of reaching higher frets (cutaway).

  • Recording musicians who can tweak the EQ / signal chain when plugged in (so that pickup issues or mid-range dips can be managed).

The Takamine EG330SC is a strong offering in its category. It offers more than what you often get at its price: spruce top, cutaway, usable electronics, and the Takamine build pedigree. It may not match the loudness or top-end sparkle of some higher-cost spruce-top acoustics, or have the perfection of premium hardware, but for many players that’s acceptable. It’s a very good workhorse instrument , reliable, versatile, and musical.
