Description
Description
The Aged-to-Vintage spruce top gives Gold-Passion the lively, harmonically-complex response normally associated with decades-old acoustic instruments. From its unique beveled cutaway to the hand-rolled body and fret treatment, every aspect of the Gold-Passion is optimized for timeless playability and tone.
- Vintage Tone Right from the Start
Our Aged-to-Vintage process treats the Gold-Passion’s solid Engelmann spruce top to mimic the curing process that would normally take place over decades. The result is big, open tone with exceptional resonance, harmonic complexity, and dynamic touch response — and you won’t need to wait a lifetime to hear it.
- AAA Flame Maple Creates a Museum-quality Presentation
To help balance the delicate clarity of its solid spruce top, the Gold-Passion is crafted with flame maple back and sides to enhance low-mid richness and overall projection. It’s an ideal tonewood combination for fingerpicking and strumming alike, while creating a captivating look you’ll treasure for a lifetime.
- Modern Concert Body Shape Re-defines How Big a Small Guitar Can Sound
Inspired by the player-favorite Grand Concert body shape, the Modern Concert body shape gives the Gold-Passion a comfortably compact feel without sacrificing sonic complexity. With richer, more robust tone than you’d expect from a smaller body, the Cort Gold-Passion re-defines how a smaller-bodied guitar can sound.
- World-class Electronics for Sweet Acoustic Tone
To accurately represent its rich acoustic tone when plugged in, the Gold-Passion is equipped with L.R. Baggs Anthem electronics. By combining a miniature microphone with a traditional acoustic-electric pickup, the Anthem system gives you studio-quality acoustic tone wherever you plug in.
