Description

This second hand electric guitar is in very good condition

The Fender Vintera Road Worn '60s Stratocaster in Lake Placid Blue captures everything players love about a well-played vintage Strat without the eye-watering price tag of an original 1960s model. Combining authentic vintage styling, a lightly aged nitrocellulose finish and modern reliability, this Mexican-built Strat offers classic Fender feel with a guitar that is ready for years of playing.

Classic Looks That Turn Heads

Lake Placid Blue is one of Fender's most iconic custom colours, and it looks even better with the Road Worn treatment. The subtly aged nitrocellulose lacquer gives the guitar the appearance of a cherished instrument that has spent decades on stage rather than hanging on a shop wall. Unlike heavily relic'd guitars, the wear is tasteful and believable, allowing the finish to continue ageing naturally over time.

The alder body is paired with a mint green pickguard and aged hardware, creating a vintage aesthetic that feels authentic from every angle.

Comfortable Vintage Feel

One of the highlights of this guitar is the neck. The mid-60s C profile fills the hand comfortably without feeling bulky, while the Road Worn finish removes the sticky feeling often associated with gloss necks. Your hand glides effortlessly up and down the neck, making long playing sessions a pleasure.

The 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and vintage tall frets deliver an authentic vintage experience while still allowing for expressive bends and comfortable lead playing. The combination strikes an excellent balance between old-school character and modern playability.

Genuine Stratocaster Tone

Equipped with three Vintage-Style '60s Single-Coil Hot Strat pickups, the Vintera delivers all the sounds players expect from a classic Stratocaster.

The neck pickup produces warm, rounded blues tones with plenty of depth. Positions two and four offer the famous glassy "quack" that has defined countless recordings, while the bridge pickup has enough extra output to handle rock and blues without becoming harsh.

Whether you're playing clean through a valve amp or adding a little overdrive, the guitar retains excellent clarity, sparkle and note separation. The hotter pickups give a welcome boost while remaining unmistakably Strat in character.

Vintage Hardware with Modern Reliability

The six-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo offers smooth operation for subtle vibrato work, while vintage-style tuning machines provide impressive tuning stability. Fender has managed to preserve the vintage appearance without sacrificing day-to-day dependability.

Build Quality

The Vintera Road Worn series has earned a strong reputation for consistent build quality. Fit and finish are excellent, fretwork is generally clean, and the instrument feels lively and resonant straight out of the case.

Pros

  • Beautiful Road Worn nitrocellulose finish
  • Iconic Lake Placid Blue colour
  • Comfortable worn neck finish
  • Excellent vintage-inspired Strat tones
  • High-quality Mexican craftsmanship
  • Vintage looks with dependable hardware

The Fender Vintera Road Worn '60s Stratocaster takes authentic 1960s styling, comfortable playability and superb Stratocaster tone into an instrument that feels broken in from day one.

The lightly aged Lake Placid Blue finish is particularly attractive, offering vintage character without looking overdone. Whether you're playing blues, classic rock, country, indie or funk, this Strat delivers the unmistakable sound and feel that has made Fender the benchmark for electric guitars for over seventy years.

A superb choice for players seeking genuine vintage character, classic Strat tones and a guitar that looks and feels like an old friend from the very first note.
