- Our Standard Shipping: This is our most affordable shipping option, with delivery by express courier taking 1-3 business days , normally via DPD or DHL parcel. Currently FREE on orders of £399 or over and £6.95 for orders under £399
- Next working day Shipping: If you need your guitar in a hurry, our Next Working Day shipping option means next working day delivery if you order before 2pm. Currently £12.99. (please note, working day means Monday-Friday , excluding bank holidays - Orders placed before 2pm Friday will be delivered Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday would shipped on Monday, delivered Tuesday.) * Please Note: Next Working Day option is not available on some items , check delivery options at the checkout.
- Shipping to Northern Ireland - can take 48 hours to arrive , and please note we can't send very heavy items such as pianos to Northern Ireland due to courier restrictions. £19.99

The Hiscox Standard Electric Bass Case has earned an excellent reputation among bass players for offering a level of protection that far exceeds what you might expect from its weight. Designed to fit most Fender Precision, Jazz and similarly shaped long-scale bass guitars, it combines a lightweight construction with impressive strength, making it a favourite for musicians who regularly travel to rehearsals and gigs.
Unlike many traditional wooden hard cases, the Hiscox uses the company's Liteflite construction. A tough ABS outer shell is bonded to a polyurethane moulding, creating a rigid yet lightweight case that provides excellent impact resistance without being cumbersome to carry. The aluminium valance running around the edge adds further rigidity while helping to create a secure seal when the case is closed.
Inside, the plush crushed velour lining offers excellent protection for your instrument's finish. The shaped interior keeps the bass securely in place, reducing movement during transport, while the generous neck support helps minimise stress on one of the instrument's most vulnerable areas. An internal storage compartment provides enough room for leads, straps, tuners and other essential accessories.
Despite its robust construction, the case weighs around 4 to 4.5kg depending on the specification, making it noticeably lighter than many plywood alternatives. This makes a real difference when carrying a bass across town or loading in for a gig.
