- Our Standard Shipping: This is our most affordable shipping option, with delivery by express courier taking 1-3 business days , normally via DPD or DHL parcel. Currently FREE on orders of £399 or over and £6.95 for orders under £399
- Next working day Shipping: If you need your guitar in a hurry, our Next Working Day shipping option means next working day delivery if you order before 2pm. Currently £12.99. (please note, working day means Monday-Friday , excluding bank holidays - Orders placed before 2pm Friday will be delivered Monday. Orders placed after 2pm Friday would shipped on Monday, delivered Tuesday.) * Please Note: Next Working Day option is not available on some items , check delivery options at the checkout.
- Shipping to Northern Ireland - can take 48 hours to arrive , and please note we can't send very heavy items such as pianos to Northern Ireland due to courier restrictions. £19.99

The John Packer JP162 Single F French Horn is a superbly designed starter horn, specifically developed with younger players and smaller hands in mind.
Its compact ‘small wrap’ design makes the JP162 considerably easier for a child to hold than a conventional full-size French horn, while still providing a genuine F single-horn configuration. The smaller body allows the player to position their right hand correctly inside the bell while maintaining a comfortable and natural playing posture.
The JP162 features three rotary valves with reliable ball-and-socket mechanical linkage, providing a smooth, positive and durable valve action. An adjustable finger ring and ducks foot allow the hand position to be tailored to the individual player, making this a particularly comfortable horn for beginners.
The F side of a single horn offers the traditional French horn sound and is an excellent choice for developing good pitch control and embouchure from an early stage. It is worth checking with the player’s teacher before purchasing, however, as some teachers prefer beginners to start on the Bb side. The JP161 is the equivalent Bb model, while the JP162 is the F model.
Finished in attractive lacquered yellow brass, the JP162 offers an excellent combination of playability, durability, comfortable handling and value for money. It is an ideal first French horn for a young player beginning their musical journey.
