At extreme gain levels things can get slightly compressed , but that’s fairly typical in high-gain valve amps and doesn’t detract from its overall usability.

It’s solidly built in typical Marshall fashion, with a sturdy cabinet and quality components.

The downside? It’s heavy, around 65 lbs ,so it’s not the most portable combo going. But that weight comes with serious projection and low-end punch.

It also takes pedals well and works across genres from blues and classic rock to metal making it a strong “one amp does it all” option.
