This second hand effects unit is in good condition
The NUX PG-1 is a compact, budget-friendly multi-effects unit that combines guitar amp modeling, essential effects, a tuner, and a metronome into one portable box—ideal for practice and travel.
Design & Build
- Portable Form Factor: The PG-1 is small and lightweight, designed for guitarists who want a quick plug-and-play solution without hauling a pedalboard.
- Controls & Interface: It features a backlit LCD screen for tuning and metronome functions, plus simple knobs and buttons for adjusting effects and tempo.
- Power Options: Runs on two AA batteries, providing up to 8 hours of continuous play, making it convenient for mobile use.
Features & Effects
- Amp & Gain Models: Offers clean, blues, and rock gain settings, giving players a range of tones from warm cleans to crunchy overdrive.

- Cabinet Simulation: An Air Control feature simulates a cabinet, adding realism to headphone or direct-to-PA tones.
- Practice Tools: Built-in chromatic tuner, metronome with selectable rhythm patterns, and AUX-in for jamming along with external music sources.
Playability & Sound
- Tone Quality: While not on par with high-end multi-effects processors, the PG-1 delivers usable tones for practice and casual playing. The distortion is serviceable, and the modulation effects add variety.
- Headphone Output: Doubles as a private practice amp, making it perfect for late-night sessions.
Pros
- Lightweight and portable.
- Wide range of built-in effects.
- Tuner, metronome, and AUX-in make it versatile for practice.

Think of it as a “Swiss Army knife” for guitarists—compact, versatile, and great for on-the-go sessions.
