Squier FSR Affinity Stratocaster HSS LRL Ice Blue Metallic 2022

This pre-owned Stratocaster is in very good condition and is fully functional. As expected with a previously owned instrument, it does have some cosmetic imperfections from normal use, as shown in the photographs. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the guitar's playability or performance.

The Squier FSR Affinity Stratocaster HSS in Ice Blue Metallic is a striking electric guitar that combines iconic Stratocaster styling, versatile tones and comfortable playability. Produced as part of a Fender Special Run, this 2022 model stands out with its eye-catching metallic blue finish, offering a distinctive look that complements its wide-ranging sound and classic design.

Built with a poplar body, a maple neck and an Indian laurel fingerboard, the Affinity Stratocaster offers a comfortable playing experience for guitarists of all abilities. The familiar C-shaped neck profile provides an accessible feel, while the 25.5-inch scale length and 9.5-inch fingerboard radius deliver the classic Stratocaster playing experience. The Indian laurel fingerboard adds a contrasting darker appearance to the maple neck, completing the guitar's stylish finish.

The HSS pickup configuration makes this Stratocaster particularly versatile, pairing two single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions with a humbucking pickup at the bridge. This combination provides a broad tonal palette, from bright, articulate cleans and glassy Stratocaster sounds to fuller, more powerful tones suited to rock and heavier styles. The five-way pickup selector allows players to move easily between different pickup combinations, making it simple to find the right sound for a variety of musical genres, including blues, indie, pop, classic rock and alternative music.

A two-point synchronised tremolo bridge adds expressive vibrato capabilities, allowing players to introduce subtle pitch variations and more pronounced effects into their playing. The guitar's sealed die-cast tuning machines contribute to reliable tuning performance, while the familiar Stratocaster body shape offers a balanced and comfortable feel whether playing standing up or seated.

Finished in Ice Blue Metallic, this special-run Affinity Stratocaster brings a fresh, contemporary look to one of the most recognisable electric guitar designs in music history. Its combination of classic styling, practical features and versatile HSS electronics makes it an appealing option for developing guitarists, experienced players seeking an affordable additional instrument, or anyone looking for a distinctive Stratocaster with a broad range of usable tones.

The Squier FSR Affinity Stratocaster HSS LRL Ice Blue Metallic from 2022 delivers the unmistakable character of the Stratocaster design with the added flexibility of a humbucker-equipped configuration and a finish that is sure to catch the eye.
