  • Our Standard Shipping: This is our most affordable shipping option, with delivery by express courier taking 1-3 business days , normally via DPD or DHL parcel. Currently FREE on orders of £399 or over and £6.95 for orders under £399
  • Next working day Shipping: If you need your guitar in a hurry, our express shipping option means next working day delivery if you order before 2pm. Currently £14.99
  • Shipping to Northern Ireland - can take 48 hours to arrive , and please note we can't send very heavy items such as pianos to Northern Ireland due to courier restrictions. £19.99

Shipping Costs:

Shipping costs will vary depending on the shipping option you choose and your location. During the checkout process, you will be able to see the shipping costs associated with your order before making a payment.

Vintage Modified Jaguar Bass Special SS (short scale) puts classic Fender looks into a distinctively sharp-looking, great-sounding and super-versatile Squier bass model. Features include a sleek offset-waist body and an ultra-slim fast-action 30" scale neck, with the added one-two punch of a booming split single-coil Precision Bass middle pickup paired with a growling Jazz Bass single-coil bridge pickup. More than just a student model, this bass is perfect for players who will appreciate the comfort of a short-scale instrument. Superior tone, smooth playability, great comfort and fantastic value.

  1. Playability, especially for those who prefer or need shorter scale
    The 30″ scale makes for less stretch between frets, lighter tension, easier bends/slides — helpful for smaller hands, beginners, or people looking for something more immediate. 

  2. Looks and vibe
    The Candy Apple Red finish, offset Jaguar body style, matching headstock, black pickguard — it looks sharp and has character. For many users “looks cool” is part of the win here.

  3. Good value for the price
    This is probably the biggest positive: for the money you spend, you get a bass that’s usable, fun, and decent quality in many respects. For beginners or those wanting a fun secondary / gig backup instrument, this tends to punch above what many expect at the price point.
